OUR PLACE AT STEP

As you may have guessed by now, I am fascinated by technology. I am thrilled about the rise of power of the individual again through its creative use, through the increasing speed of bandwidth, the miniaturization of machines, and through open-source software.

What’s especially thrilling is when I learn that young people ‘digital natives’ are in the vanguard of these new adaptations of the technology. Sometimes they are originators, but mostly they are adaptors, and navigators. I’d like to share some of these stories. For instance…. Did you hear about Jawed Karim?
